COMPANY FOUNDATION

Early 1950's

Mann's Transport commences operation concentrating on general local haulage.

Crane acquisition

1963

Mobile Crane Hire was added to Mann's Transport existing fleet

acquired by Marschall group

July 1986

The Marschall family acquired Mann's Transport. Since its foundation in 1970, the Marschall family has established and maintained a reputation for a high quality and reliable service.

Expansion (Logan Crane Hire)

2007

The Marschall family acquired Logan Crane Hire in 2007 and has now included the origins of the Mann's involvement in their trading names, with the Logan Crane Hire business, referred to as Mann's Logan Crane Hire, operating out of Rocklea and additional facilities at Kingston, servicing all throughout Brisbane

Further Expansion (Cleveland Crane Hire)

2012

The 2012 acquisition of Cleveland Crane Hire, and its integration under the Manns Logan banner, provides additional opportunities for growth and expansion of the business throughout the Redland and Bay of Islands regions.

Recent History

Mann's Logan Crane Hire has been highly successful in recent years with the emphasis shifting from Building and Construction to more Civil works due to the downturn in the building industry and the upturn in infrastructure capital works since the GFC and the Floods.
Our capabilities include:

Other recent projects we have worked on are the ARRP Southern Qld Bridge Project and the M1 Motorway upgrade
When we first built our business, we did it with a simple yet powerful mission statement: “Whatever It Takes”. We started with only a few select clients that have become close and all still work with us today. It is from this loyal base that we have grown almost exclusively from word of mouth. We aim to treat each client like we are a partner in their business, a partner in their success, doing whatever it takes to keep their business growing and advancing.
